Let’s talk about social impact with Cecilia Vales, founder of She Wins Mexico. She Wins is a non governmental organization fighting for girls and women to have equal access to education, sports and development opportunities in Mexico and Latin America. Founded in 2015, the organization strives to attain gender equality and empower women through sports academies and clinics, life skills workshops and many more programs. Join us as we speak with Cecilia about building She Wins and the challenges she’s faced in her journey so far. There will also be a Q&A session to learn more about our speaker and her experience!

This Dialogue will cover the effects of incarceration and its intersections with race, gender, and other identities. We’re excited to welcome Kim Taylor-Thompson, who is an NYU Law Professor, as well as an expert on the impacts of race and gender on public policy. She has also led research on how the brain functions of adolescents affects criminal behavior. As always, this Dialogue is a safe space and inclusive of all.
