Maya is thrilled to continue guiding a group of supportive women who are working hard to make Stern a welcoming space amidst such a male-dominated industry! Besides traveling, she loves finding new sunset spots, exploring lots of Thai restaurants, and binging Netflix originals. She also spent sophomore fall in London and spring in Madrid, so feel free to reach out for anything abroad-related!

Sanya Lopes

Sanya fell in love with USWIB her freshman year when she saw the warm, empowering sisterhood it nurtured. Since then, she has not only dedicated herself to the organization but also made so many beautiful friends through it! She is most excited about mentoring and giving back to incoming members. She studied abroad her sophomore year in London and Madrid (which she can't shut up about), so reach out to her for all things travel! In her free time, she enjoys exploring cafes in the city, hosting dinner parties for her friends, and picnicking in Central Park!

Kasha joined USWIB her freshman year because it was the first place she felt a sense of community and belonging in trying to navigate the overwhelming experiences of college. She has met so many amazing people through the club, including some of her mentors, who have been so supportive and helpful throughout her journey. This year, she is super excited to meet all the new members and give back to this amazing community!

Anshu joined USWIB because of the supportive and empowering community. Mehar feels most 'at home' around the USWIB community of confident and supportive women who have inspired her to be involved in club activities since her freshman year. She is excited to pay this experience forward to the underclassmen while strengthening friendships with the current girls! Outside of school, she enjoys traveling, exploring the city with her friends, vibing to Bollywood music and indulging in new-found food spots!

Laura Lu

Conference Branding & Marketing Chair

Ever since joining USWIB through the Freshman Liasion Program in Fall 2023, Laura felt a strong connection towards everyone in the club. She hopes to continue building a supportive community and expand membership throughout all NYU schools. Conference is one of USWIB's largest events, and she is so excited to be in charge of marketing this semester.

Sneha Rao

Sneha has been in USWIB since her freshman fall and has loved the strong supportive community of women it has provided! She has found some of her closest friends in this club, and would not be where she is without the amazing support from these women. Sneha studied abroad her sophomore fall in Madrid and will be going abroad to Copenhagen for IBEX! She is so excited to get to know the new members, and would love to help anyone out with anything from classes, to best places to eat. In her free time, Sneha loves to watch psychological thrillers, find cute dessert places, and yap. :)

Bobo Lyu

Coming from an all-girls high school, USWIB has been a source of love and support for Bobo. This year, she looks forward to all the fun mentorship bonding events and the chance to connect with like-minded individuals. Outside of USWIB, she finds joy in painting, running, and immersing herself in nature.

Adhya joined USWIB in the fall of her freshman year because she wanted to be surrounded by other women with the same passions and interests as her. Milly joined USWIB her freshmen year and immediately knew it was one of the communities she wanted to be part of and contribute to. USWIB had everything she was looking for professionally and socially. From the mentorship program, to the wellness and social events, Milly was not only able to explore and learn about different career opportunities, but she also cultivated many strong and amazing relationships with like-minded women, who are now some of her best friends. USWIB provided her with an uplifting, welcoming, and empowering community and environment to thrive and succeed!

I joined USWIB in the Spring of my Freshman year. NYU, especially Stern, can be overwhelming, and I struggled to find a community. When I joined USWIB, I felt supported in ways I had never experienced at college, and the mentorship I was given exposed me to careers and interests that I am still pursuing. I am most excited about the conference (my favorite event) and hearing from spectacular alums and business leaders who inspire me every year!

I joined USWIB in search of a community that supported my interests as much as it challenged me to pursue them! Throughout the challenges of recruiting, networking, and skill-building, this inclusive environment has and continues to provide resources and coherence both personally & professionally. After a long semester abroad from my favorite city, I am so excited to return to an organization that gives back what you put in. USWIB has taught me that when you are genuinely committed and apply yourself, your efforts are multiplied in your returns.

Aside from the amazing community she’s found in USWIB, Aishwarya is really excited to be a part of a space that emphasizes opportunities for women and underrepresented groups, especially in the business world. USWIB's weekly meetings are seriously amazing breaks during the middle of each week, and they also gave Aishwarya the opportunity to learn more about the professional world. She can't wait to see more of these sort of events this year!

In college and beyond, she hopes to continue championing female spaces in the workplace. At NYU, Andrea is also an Admissions Ambassador and the Culture Editor of the Washington Square News!
