Notes: Greta has a great filmography that centers around women’s stories. Definitely check out her other work if you haven’t already! Lady Bird, Barbie, and Frances Ha have special places in my heart.

Description: Ending on a lighter note, Emma Seligman (NYU alum!!!) brings us Bottoms, a must-see comedy. The story follows two high school students who start a fight club to date their crushes. I haven’t laughed this much at a movie in a long time; this one will definitely help you destress! :)
Notes: Fun fact, Rachel Sennott, Ayo Edebiri, and Havana Rose Liu are all NYU alumni! There’s even a picture of Rachel and Emma planning out the movie in an NYU study room!
